What began as a hobby…
for Los Angeles native veteran accessories designer, Betsi Wilson, quickly evolved into a business and global mission to give. Betsi, a self-pronounced “blanket snob”, created what she couldn’t find for her daughter – a high end blanket with a built-in pocket. Soon these woobie pocket blankets were requested by friends, expected at baby showers, and seen in the hands of celebrities.

Betsi partnered with her sister, Tori Burak, to launch Luv My Woobie, Inc. in 2007. Quality is huge for the sisters and they wanted to construct the ultimate blanket that would make a statement. Beyond bringing crazy soft upscale blankets with flair to mommies, daddies and babies, Betsi and Tori donate a blanket to a child in need for every blanket sold. According to the sisters, no child should be without a security blanket – something to call “mine”, and their mission is to wrap babies and toddlers around world in style.
