It was incredible to sit down to the yummy dinner made by the women at the shelter, pass out the woobies, and read a bedtime story to the cuddly little ones. The adults and teenagers also benefited from hearing Roy Juarez, Jr. speak about when he was homeless teenager in charge of his baby brother and sister. It was an incredible night. The Homeless Children's Education Fund, Healthy Start, and I want to thank you Betsi and Tori from the bottom of our hearts for the the beautiful blankets. We hope that people will purchase their own blankets for those children on their lists so that we can do more drops in the future! It was such a joyful evening!
